Hotslings - Stretch Baby Sling/Wrap

I love my HOTSLING! I bought this sling for my newborn and am so glad i did, I love having him so close to me, and as a nursing mother it made feeding time easy to conceal. It is great design, you are able to fold it up so small it fits right in the diaper bag or even a purse! I really like that it is once solid loop of fabric so simple but sturdy, I didn't have to worry about constantly re-adjusting/tightening like the ring models. I choose the reversible one so I could wear the bold beautiful floral pattern, then my husband could flip it to the plain black side when he wears it. I received so many compliments every single time I used this sling, it is one of the most stylish baby products available. It wasn't that expensive and is very well made. The Hotsling offers several different ways to carry your child depending on the stage of development. This sling worked really well for us in the cradle carry but we could not use the front carry very long, it wasn't as comfortable for him and he wouldn't sit in it as long since his feet were inside he would try to push/stand up. I think this would be a rare problem, but each baby is different. my son never liked being swaddled, he is tall and likes to stretch out, the front carry was just to snug for him. He is barely 5mths and is not sitting up on his own yet so by the hotsling's standards we should still be using the front carry and he prefers the hip carry with feet hanging, which is recommended for 6mth and up. The hip carry is great he is just a little to wobbly and skinny for this method. I do hope that once his balance gets a little better and he gets a little bigger we will be able to use it again. I really love my hotsling and know that we will get much more use out of it it. The weight limit is very decent and grows with child. The quality and style is one of a kind. It has made my life so much easier to be hands free and still have my baby so close, which we both enjoy! With out this I wouldn't have been able to get anything done, b/c my son always wanted to be held and never napped. The wide one piece design make this sling very comfortable and supportive as far as carriers go. It feels so much safer and more natural than the Snugli/ Baby Bjourn /front hanging models. The hotsling allows the child to sit in a natural position which is not only more comfortable but research shows better for the spine. The website offers videos explaining the different waysto carry your child , and how to put your child in and eject your child. It did take some getting used to but then became second nature, still much faster than getting out a stroller! I think this was an awesome buy and plan to use it for future children as well!
