I decided I wanted a smooth top stove. I was tired of cleaning the drip pans out. So I looked at many different stoves and finally decided on the hotpoint smooth top stove. It was wonderful. So easy to clean. No messy drip pans anymore. Cooks evenly.Self cleaning oven, works great.Burner lights up while heating. Light shows you when burner is still warm. Price was very reasonable. I really didn't find anything I didn't like about. 6 months ago I sold my house with the stove. I had another house built and bought the exact same stove for the new house. The only thing I might have done differently is to buy a white stove instead of black. But the black stove has been real easy to keep clean and always looks shinny.
I am totally happy with my hotpoint.
