One Of My Favorite Movies

You wouldn't think you'd like a gruff unsympathetic artist for a main character but you will in this movie. Alec Guiness will give you a view into an artist's soul when he tries to create. Keep in mind this is the only movie Guiness ever thought well enough about to write and bring to the screen (adapted from Joyce Cary's Novel) If you can get the DVD of this movie there are some bare boned extras that come with it. The main being an interview with the director that gives some insight into the film.
