It's just okay
Pros:
Pretty light, great for area rugs or easy vacuuming
Cons:
Clumsy, cheap plastic that breaks easily, messy to empty
The Bottom Line:
A decent cheap vacuum, worth $40 but not more.

Author's Review
I got this at Wmart during the Christmas sale, $40, to replace my old horribly loud vacuum I reviewed earlier.
First, this is pretty quiet compared to my old vac. Since my ears are still ringing from my last vac, anything would seem quieter.
It's built really cheaply. One part of the handle has already broken, it's cheap brittle plastic. So now the handle that holds that cup of dirt in place, is not nearly as secure.
It's super messy. There is no way to empty this BOTH quickly AND neatly. You can only do one. If you go fast, you will end up with dust and dirt all over. If you go slow, it's not too bad.
The filter itself can be used over and over, so that is great. No more bags, also great. But there is something about the make of the vac, it's just MESSY. To clean it out properly, you should really empty it outside.
As far as sucking ability, not so much. If you have a lot of carpet, consider something better. If you have deep carpet, consider something else. If you have one or two area rugs like I do, it's perfect. Not too heavy either. Good attachments.
