Hoover F5914-900 SteamVac Upright Vacuum

I just finished using the Hoover Steam Vac (new out of the box)from Wal Mart. First let me tell you there is no steam,only in the name. When you put the water in it is as hot as it is going to get. Are home is new we don't smoke we have no pets and remove our shoes as do most of our guests. The carpet only gets dirty in the traffic areas.
The Hoover vac did a good job to remove the excess water and a very lousy job of cleaning. I ended up scrubbing the traffic areas by hand and using the vacuum to remove the water. Tomorrow,or soon I will be selling the thing at half price if I don't have to lie about it to make the sale.
I will be more truthful than Hoover and tell them the steam is only in the name. I should have checked the reviews before I purchased it. Sam Slick 436 Forbes Road Bedford Pa. 15522
