Our drafty old house gets very cold in the winter so we have to use spaceheaters in the living room and dining room.  My father told me to purchase a ceramic heater because it was less like to start a fire than the old coil styles and used less electricity.  This mightly little heater really puts out the rays and heats up small rooms very quickly, which also saves on heating fuel costs.  I also found that the cord did not get too hot, which makes me feel that the Honeywell HZ315 QuickHeat Ceramic Heater is safer than other comparable products on the market.
