Not that Good. Misleading title, not 11 gallon

I bought two of these for my 2100sq foot condo at Home Depot for $99 each. I was having wood floor issues and need to humidify because of gapping between the boards. I placed these one on each level. The whole set up feels a little cheap. The bottom portion is a essentially a plastic bowl that two tanks and the fan/motor unit sits on. They don't fit too well and if they are a millimeter off then either the tanks don't drain or the fan won't turn on.

The advertising is misleading. The tanks don't hold 11 gallons maybe each one hold 3/4 of a gallon. It says it will humidify up to 11 gallons, again the tank does NOT hold 11 gallons.

The other problem with the tanks is that they do not drain appropriately. They have a valve mechanism at the bottom with a spring mechanism like most other humidifiers. What happens is that they partially drain into the tub when they are supposed to continuously fill the tub as the water is pulled into the filter and evaporated by the fan. But as they drain a negative pressure develops in the tanks holding the water in the tank thereby not allowing the water to drain. Essentially like an air lock. So, I find myself shaking it to get the tank water to drain into the evaporation tub.

Bottom line: The tanks don't drain properly.
