Cons: Requires installation kit. Takes time/talent to install. Wastes water and needs drain.

Pros: Very effective unit, uncomplicated installation. Low maintenance, 5 year warantee.

Cons: Installation can be time consuming. Needs 110 volt outlet and floor drain.

Pros: Humidifies the air WHEN it's working.

Cons: Poor plastic housings that crack. LEAKS a LOT! High maintenance just to keep it working.

The Bottom Line: Poor quality plastic. Leaks a LOT. It is a water hog. High maintenance.
