When we had our new baby, we hauled out the old humidifier. The noise was sure to wake the sleeping child and NOONE wants to keep a baby up all night long! The old one had a tray underneath, that leaked all the way from the sink to the tabletop, and when turned on, didn't have a speed control or a humidity control. Lets just say, like alot of other models on the market, it 'sprayed' mist all over the place(most of it falling on the tabletop or floor)until it became empty in 2-3 hours and made a horrible racket till it was filled again.
"NO MORE like THAT" I proclaimed to myself as I looked online at the new ones.
I saw several that looked like the same old thing, then..I saw the ad for THIS one! I couldn't believe it, it had a humidity control! auto shut off! a bottle for the water so it wouldn't slosh out or leave water all over! I was sold!
Well, my Mom in law got truly sold, it was a gift, and she'd seen the same one I had!
I set it up right away, the water holder didn't leak a bit! When I turned it on, I was shocked at how quiet it ran. To be honest, I wondered if it was broken! It ran so smooth, and when I put my hand over where the mist comes out...it was so fine I barely felt anything. Amazing!
After awhile the little blue light came on and it shut off.. all by itself! 'Desired humidity level reached'
I can leave the house with it on, and not worry about it running out of water and frying the motor, or the house after a few hours. It doesn't leave that tale tale wet 'dew' all over the place, and even better it won't wake the baby!!
I wish I had had it for my first baby 13 years ago!
I highly recommend this humidifier. It's wonderful!
