Pros: Sturdy Metal Housing, Digital Controls, Completely Silent, Has Casters, Maintenance Free
Cons: Being nitpicky but the cord is a little short and its a bit heavy
The Bottom Line: I have tried dozens of space heaters and this is the only one that has actually worked.
Review: The Honeywell HZ-709 comes very well packaged with solid styrofoam wrapped around the unit all inside a heavy duty cardboard box. When I opened mine I wasn't surprised that there wasn't a scratch on it. It comes with the radiator unit, four ...

Pros: Three heat settings, digital thermostat, timed shut-off, easy to move around, sleek styling
Cons: Temperature read-out a bit inaccurate
The Bottom Line: Great product that does what it claims to do, well worth the investment.
Review: I bought this unit back in October, as it was starting to get cold here in Wisconsin, and the "back" of the house, where the bedrooms are, does not get nearly as warm as the rest of the house does. Not wanting to crank the thermostat and overheat the ...

Pros: Quiet, well made, IT WORKS!
Cons: None
Review: So far this heater(radiator)has been amazing and works really well! Temps have been around 40 five nights in a row and this one heater has been keeping my whole 1400 foot house at 68 to 70 degrees. I have it in my living room and have my ceiling fan in ...

Pros: Warm safe heat
Cons: nothing
Review: I have this heater and you do not have to set the timer when you turn it on. Jorge must be mistaken and feels the need to set his timer each time he turns it on which in turn cuts it off when the timer returns to zero. Jorge leave the timer button alone ...

Before It Gets Much Colder in Chicago...

Pros: Runs quiet, heats efficiently, portable, sturdy
Cons: Temperature control not entirely accurate, cord is a little short
The Bottom Line: If you've got the room, you could do worse. It's cheap to buy, and cheaper than blasting the furnace.
Review: A few weeks back the first blast of cold started rolling over the city from Lake Michigan, and our apartment wasn't exactly comfortable. I love Chicago and all, but man, I didn't expect the freeze this early in the year. Winter is still a ...

Pros: in general its good and efficient
Cons: no recurrent operation
Review: The previous reviewer cocomoj from San Antonio (he posted the same "review" in Amazon the same date) states that he was "in shock" to see his bedroom warm in the cold weather blast and temperatures below freezing outside. In San Antonio? In Dec of 2006? ...

Pros: Nice digital readout. Quiet operation. Cool to the touch when working correctly.
Cons: Must reset desired temperature every time you turn it on. Short lifespan.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this particular product. Oil-filled is great, but this Honeywell Model is BAD.
Review: I bought two of these a year ago and used them for about 1/3rd of the winter days in Portland, OR (where it doesn't get that cold). They worked great for the first two months. They never got too hot to the touch and were good about keeping the ...

Pros: works great and looks great for two years
Cons: leaks oil and has pungent smell
Review: I bought the unit two years ago. Soon after, I discovered that when the unit reaches 85 F, it starts leaking oil. After two years, it started to leak oil every time I turned it on. I am pretty certain that soon there won't be any oil left in mine. ...
