How Enviracaire Saved my Job

There was a flood in the basement of the office building I work in and a lot of moldy files, etc. are being stored in the basement until the insurance company finally pays up. My allergies kicked up so badly because of this mold that I thought I was going to have to quit my job.

One of my coworkers had a Honeywell Enviracaire 50250 Air Purifier at home that he wasn't using and kindly brought it in for me to try. It made such an amazing difference in my health that the owner of our company has gotten one for each of our offices and we have watched allergy related illnesses steadily decline.

We run the purifiers on high in the evenings when no one is in because they are noisy. We come in in the morning to sweet smelling, clean air. We run them on low during the day. Because of the major mold problem, we do run the purifiers 24/7.

The Honeywell uses a double filter system. There is a pre-filter to catch larger particles and a HEPA filter to catch allergens. We have had the purifiers for 5 months and have changed the pre-filters once and have not changed the HEPA filters at all. I guess that tells us that the pre-filters are really doing their jobs. It is amazing what the pre-filters cleaned out of the air.
