Honda = Reliability

This is the third Honda vehicle our family has owned and our new 2006 Pilot lives up to the reputation that has kept us returning to Honda for our needs. Here's why:

Safety: Honda beats most other car brands because side air bags are standard in all vehicles. And Honda excels in saftey ratings across the board. This was important for our family with a newborn. Compare Honda vehicles with other brands and you can't deny this fact.

Reliability: Our experience with Honda is, "Change the oil on a regular basis and that accounts for 99.9 % of the maintainence".

More specific to the 2006 Pilot:

Interior: The EX with cloth seats has roomy seats, including a third row, an automatic "set it and forget it" climate control, XM ready satelite radio, 6 CD audio system, and easy to read and use dials and controls. For an SUV, no noticeable blind spots.

Exterior: Attractive trim, wide choice of color options and fog lights standard.

The only con to the Pilot is the gas mileage. Probably 15 mpg in the city, 18 on the highway...despite what the sticker says.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the Pilot and recommend it whole heartedly.
