Honda quality myth shattered - my Voyager was better

Date of Review:  Jun 17, 2006
The Bottom Line: start saving for tires, look out for quality problems and dealer disbelief of your complaints
Review: The left electric sliding door broke the morning after we bought the car (May 2005), and has been repaired several times since.
The next day, the 3rd seat latch pulled out of the seat, followed by a broken cup holder. Then the left turn signal...

Don't buy this van...

Date of Review:  Aug 6, 2007
Review: We are so disappointed in our purchase of a 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring Van. We average 12 - 15 mpg and this is "highway" use! Totally unacceptable. Our van has 1100 miles on it and it has already been in the shop to be repaired for 'defects'; one...

One of the best minivans on the market.

Date of Review:  Jul 26, 2005
The Bottom Line: Odyssey and Sienna are the two best vans on the market right now. Ody has great handling, powerful engine and tons of goodies.
Review: This is our second minivan and seventh Honda/Acura vehicle and we're very happy with our purchase. This van replaces our 2002 Mazda MPV ES and it's better than the MPV in almost every respect.

We have the Touring model without the NAV and...

Honda Odyssey

Date of Review:  Sep 23, 2005
The Bottom Line: Check further the bumper on the Sienna before you decide. It may be worth to pay the difference now than later at the repair shop
Review: I bought a few months ago a Honda Odyssey and I decided to print a problem that developed recently. I hit a pothole and the bottom plastic cover broke. Well, that's doesn't seem to be a major issue other than the fact that the repair would cost more...

2005 Touring Model worth the $$$$

Date of Review:  Dec 11, 2004
Review: We had a 2003 Odyssey. But when we saw the Touring Model and the pedals and lift gate were power, we were sold on it. The handling is very nice. The ride is comfortable. Better than the 2003 Odyssey. The sound system sounds great. Do not need to buy...

This is my fifth honda since 1985 ... and another winner!

Date of Review:  Jan 9, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you can get one, take it home today!! No car company can touch the new Oddy!
Review: The 2005 Oddy will be another Best in Class home run for Honda - the van by which all others will be judged. Many of the features that made the old Odyssey the car to beat are still here, with further refinements. The new features that make it even...

Drivers Seat

Date of Review:  Jan 20, 2006
Review: I am a driver for a company which owns 4 Odyssey's. At 6'4" I cannot get comfortable in the drivers seat because the seat in the 2005 does not have the knobs on the side of the seat to adjust for thigh support. On days when I spend 4 or more hours...

I paid THAT much for THIS??

Date of Review:  Mar 30, 2006
Review: After my van went completely through a red light with the brake pedal to the floor, I was told by the service department that they "couldn't duplicate the problem". Well, I should hope not! They say there is a known problem with the 2005 Odyssey...

Odyssey Touring - Great engine, but PAX tires are a bad idea

Date of Review:  Jul 14, 2005
The Bottom Line: Good vehicle, but PAX tires are a drawback.
Review: I bought the 2005 Odyssey Touring after driving the Sienna and Town & Country. The Sienna had too much body roll and the engine was gutless. The 2005 T&C was not as well made as the '97 T&C I was replacing. Overall the Honda is a great vehicle - the...

Known XM radio problem

Date of Review:  Jun 7, 2006
Review: I love my Odyssey, but the XM radio and "sub"woofer were rip offs. Honda installs the XM radio antenna on the inside of the windshield, a place XM specifically says you shouldn't mount your antenna. This is followed by horrible reception (it fades...
