Peppy, bigger than it appears, good mileage

by   dtskiles ,  Jul 26, 2005
Pros: Storage, Gas Mileage, Pep, Reliability
Cons: Not a lot of options.
The Bottom Line: I've bought 2, and am looking at a 3rd. It runs, it's big, it's efficient, it's reliable.
Review: This is our second "new" CRV. We had a 2002 - probably one of the first out. Then replaced it after a freak accident in 2004. We reviewed all the "usual suspects" from our 2002 purchase. We considered the Jeep Liberty, Toyota RAV-4, and Saturn VUE. ...

The Perfect SUV: The CR-V!

by   machoguy ,  Feb 14, 2007
Pros: Everything in car works great and is great looking
Cons: Nothing I can recall of!
The Bottom Line: This car is a beauty and is great for anyone who loves fuel efficient SUV's
Review: This car has nothing wrong with it. When I say 'nothing' I mean NOTHING! This car has a a lot of torque and can hull up to 1,500 pounds by using just a little 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. The trunk is also huge for this car; around 32 square feet just in ...

A very nice car

by   andreiuta ,  Mar 7, 2007
Pros: Great off-roads. Decent gasoline consumption. Huge cabin space.
Cons: There is no way to switch this car to and from 4WD.
The Bottom Line: I like this car for the fast response when I drive it (I specially asked for the standard version), durability, and for its look!
Review: I don't know much about the technical aspect of cars so my review is going to address particularly the non-technical aspects of this car. I had a Honda Civic for 3 years before I decided that it was time for a new car. I do a lot of outdoors activities, ...

CR-V

by   vsmithx2 ,  Jan 25, 2007
Pros: spacious, drives great, great quality for price
Cons: gas mileage isn't extremely high, but still better than most other small SUV's
Review: I've had mine for about 1 1/2 years. I researched many of the others in the same price range and decided to continue with a Honda ( I had a civic). I am not disappointed at all. It is roomy, drives great, holds ALOT of stuff. I live in the south and it ...

Love my CR-V

by   doxielover13 ,  Aug 9, 2005
Pros: roomy, comfy, dependable, good value
Cons: haven't found any
Review: I absolutely love my CR-V. In fact I'm on my second one! If that doesn't speak for itself I don't know what does. I started with a 98 and I now own an '04. I had about 160K on my 98 and the only "problem" I encountered is I had to replace the radiator ...

2004 CR-V is da bomb!

by   clbasto ,  Jan 28, 2006
Pros: Powerful, Quiet, Roomy, Sporty and Classy looking, Easy to Drive
Cons: Cant think of any
Review: I love my CR-V and since my previous vehicle was a sudan, the room is incredible. I love the power behind it. It has a quick get up and go, and the engine is so quiet. We live overseas in a very hot climate so I love the cool feel of the leather ...

A Great SUV!

by   jdf14 ,  Jul 8, 2007
Pros: Comfortable seating, roomy interior, quiet and comfortable ride.
Cons: awkward opening tailgate, interior could be higher quality
Review: My cousin owns this CRV and I think it is quite nice! On the outside, the CRV boasts a carlike stance and attrective headlamp and taillight clusters. Inside, this car has a roomy and comfortable interior. As with most cars, this has only a few flaws. ...

Noisy CRV

by   vafer2k ,  May 30, 2008
Pros: reliable
Cons: Noisy, noisy and noisy.
Review: We bought it new. It's ok. It's damn noisy at highway speeds. Need to speak up, turn up the stereo, etc. Changed the tires hoping for some relief, but to no avail. Noisy. As transportation, it's reliable. Handling: mediocre. Acceleration: ...

Honda? Never Again!

by   shastaladybear ,  Apr 9, 2006
Pros: holds it's resale value
Cons: service depts. from California to NJ will try and rip you off.
The Bottom Line: I'm stickin with Toyota
Review: I bought a 2004 CRV brand new and began a cross country trip few months later. In Nevada the air conditioner died, when we got to New Jersey I took it to the dealer and he said the compressor needed to be replaced. This car had 6000 miles on it and i ...

Noisy CR-V: road noise, tire noise.

by   ldelgatto ,  Oct 13, 2007
Pros: Tailgate, gas mileage, Honda reliability & longevity, inexpensive to maintain, "walk through" to back seat
Cons: noise, visibility, interior storage compartments
The Bottom Line: Too much road noise and poor visibility. Great sideways opening rear-door.
Review: Paid way too much for this vehicle as I thought I was buying a 4WD. Sometimes it pays to buy from a dealer! Anyway, like most, I find the road noise unbearable. I have changed the tires to Yokohama Avid and then to Michelin Destiny. No change to the ...
