Honda Drops the Ball

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2001
The Bottom Line: While the Prelude certainly has a lot to recommend it, similar money will purchase the more luxurious Accord coupe. generations of Prelude disappointed.
Review: If you have read the very first opinion I ever posted on this site, then you know what a fan I am of the Honda Prelude. MY Honda Prelude that is--a 1990 SI that has provided almost 11 years of trouble-free and enjoyable service to myself and one...

Review: Honda Prelude 2001

Affordable Excellence

Honda has been selling this Prelude style for four years, sales are strong so why change anything? The only thing Honda did for 2001 is to stop production of the SH version and replaced it...

Purchased after MUCH research

Date of Review:  Jun 13, 2001
The Bottom Line: Honda will never let their customers down on quality. The ride you feel today will likely be the ride you feel when you turn 130,000 miles on the engine.
Review: After examining my finances some months ago, I decided that I could afford a new, rather than another used, car. I thus embarked upon a research frenzy in order to determine the perfect car for me, and one that would last for years to come.

Good sports car for the money despite flaws.

Date of Review:  Sep 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: The Prelude can still hang with most newer sports coupes in terms of looks and performance, and can be had at a good price.
Review: I bought my used black Honda Prelude (Automatic) in February of 2006, and have been very satisfied with the vehicle despite a few flaws. The car I had before I bought the Prelude was a 2001 Ford Focus SE sedan. A decent and very underrated car it...

The car with a multiple-personality

Date of Review:  May 1, 2001
The Bottom Line: Comfortable, high quality, practical and handsome -- yet the devil lurks deep beneath the hood :-)
Review: I am a complete "car guy." Have been practically ever since I could walk. I'm addicted to things like car magazines, auto shows, and going to dealer's lots on Sunday afternoons. I frequently find myself sounding like a salesman when talking about...

Buy it for the looks! - You'll get plenty

Date of Review:  Feb 8, 2001
The Bottom Line: Look very seriously at this car if you are willing to spend around $22,000 and would like a youthful, but conservative and classy sports coupe.
Review: Why I purchased a Prelude

I purchased a new 2001 Silver Prelude in December of 2000 and have enjoyed it in many ways. This was my first new car and I test drove a lot of other vehicles and did a great deal of research on the net and by the...

Date of Review:  Dec 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: Excellent car, no other words to describe it.
Review: When I finally graduated from college and decided it was time to up-grade my ride I looked no further then the Honda Prelude. Up until this time I d always been a car enthusiast but never had the money to buy a fast car, so as soon as I had my...

I think I'm turning Japanese..I really think so

Date of Review:  Aug 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: The sex toy shifter upgrade is the way to go. Highly recommend
Review: I replaced the shifter knob with a severed sex toy head for more firm shifts, converting it to a sex toy trans. I bought the car with 102k and have had it for a couple of months now. While it's not the fastest car I've driven, it's one of the best...

Great looking Sports Car that's fun to drive

Date of Review:  Jun 13, 2001
The Bottom Line: Sports car that not only looks stylish but is reliable at a great price.

Own 2 2001 Preludes--they're great

Date of Review:  Mar 10, 2004
Review: I have always driven smaller cars, and have always liked the Prelude. I drove a friend's 1988 Prelude and instantly fell in love. When the body redesign happened in '92, I thought the look was unique, but it took away from the wide, low features...
