Honda Civic HX

I SOOOOO Much miss my Civic HX- STANDARD Transmission Coupe. I bought it new in 1998 and sold it in 2006 (with $135Kmiles) as I need to upgrade to a bigger car for my kids. It was an AWESOME car. It never left me stuck anywhere. The gas mileage was the BEST!!! Also, the value of the car stayed for a long time.

A few concerns that I had... when I first purchased the car, on rainy days a belt would squeakle. It didn't affect the performance, just an annoying sound. Also, about 4 years after owning the car, the engine light would kick on. I had it tested several times by my local mechanic and Honda mechanic - no one could find out what the problem was.

It drove smooth and having the standard transmission allowed me to really feel the power in the engine.

The cloth seats were in great condition through all the years I had it. The sound system was ok. I didn't upgrade. It was standard radio only. The paint always maintain original look.

Had a couple of accidents with the car. The biggest one in light bumper to bumper traffic and a small pick truck rear-ended me. He was going 15-20 mph at best and my whole trunk caved in.

I would highly recommend this car to anyone and everyone. It is economical and it is reliable.
