If you are looking for a great family car, this is it!

My husband and I have 5 children (his, mine and ours). We needed a vehicle that would seat the 7 of us comfortably. We started with a minivan but realized there just isn't enough leg room for 3 growing boys and 2 girls in carseats. We traded for an Expedition -- nice room but horrible gas mileage. Then we saw an add for the Honda Pilot. I have always felt that Honda was one of the best cars made. When I found out the had an 8 seater SUV I was hooked. We decided to lease the 2008 due to a very attractive offer. I absolutely love this car! I have the roominess I needed for the boys and the gas mileage is very good for the size of the vehicle.

We leased the basic model, but it has all the options I refer like power windows and power door locks. It does have manual seats, but this is not a problem for us. The second row, you can move each seat independently which is nice with car seats. The third row is a split 60/40. One cool feature is that the lap belts for the middle second and third row seats are in the roof. There is nice room in the console to store things, plenty of tray and other storage areas. And lots of power supplies for recharging the cell phone.

As with most Hondas, this car is very quiet. When you start it up, you can hardly hear it running. We have to travel on the highway and there is very little highway noise. The seats are comfy, which is great on the long trips.
