Service is terrible. Gas mileage is over-rated 45mpg is false.

The Bottom Line: Not recommended. Dealer is main reason. Electrical problems. Frequent recalls. Poor gas mileage.
Review: First, there have been four recalls.
After one recall I got notified of another. I asked why they didn't fix both at the same time. They said it was not their policy.
Secondly, on one occasion the car just wouldn't start. The lights inside...

Honda Civic Hybrid... surprising

The Bottom Line: If getting a hybrid matters to you, the Civic Hybrid has a great price/features package.
Review: I've been driving my 2006 Civic Hybrid with GPS navigation since November 2005. Already have >20,000 miles on it.

I bought this car solely because in California you are allowed to drive in carpool lanes (after you get an ugly DMV sticker)...
