LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS FAN!!!!!

The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this fan to anyone! The cost and functionality are the main reasons. The Holmes name is another.
I purchased this fan a few weeks ago after searching for a fan that would work for me. It really got a work out last week in out heat & humidity. I was able to set the temp for my air conditioner higher (in hopes of lowering energy costs) and yet with this fan I was very comfortable. The lowest speed was all that was necessary. Options for different speeds is most welcome! The oscillating feature is part of the reason I bought this fan-- it really circulates the air. An added feature is the timer. I set it to turn off in the middle of the night when the temperature has cooled off. The sound coming from this fan is something you don't even notice, in fact I don't hear it at all . This fan is very well priced-- I bought it on line from QVC and even with shipping it was reasonable. There is no "learning curve" to operate this fan. I have had others with timers that I never got to work. It is light enough in weight that some one with disabilities would be able to use it. I'm sure I will be using this fan for years to come.
