Problems keeping filter wet and working.......

Pros: When filter is saturated it will humidify the rooms nicely.

Cons: The filter/wick dries out even when tanks are full of water.

I have owned a Holmes humidifier before and needed a replacement. I bought the new model HM3655 and am disappointed with it's performance. Even though the water tanks are full the filter/wick dries out and seems to stop humidifying the room. So I am constantly having to pull the thing apart to soak down the filter/wick which then starts the humidifier working properly till it dries out again.
