One of the Best Available

Pros: speed, silent, both SATA I & II, new and legacy power connections

Cons: easier way to switch from SATA I & II (must download utility from Hitachi's website)

The Bottom Line: I recommend this drive to anyone who is looking to upgrade their current hard drive and has an SATA port on their motherboard. Simply stated, this drive is perfect.

Bought Two for Home PVR / Backup Server / NAS

Pros: Quiet, Powersaving, Cool

Cons: Configuration of advanced features requires DOS boot, pricing games with Sata I versus II

The Bottom Line: Great for PCs that need to be cool and quiet above all other requirements.
