Disney High School Musical

A teen movie from the Disney channel.
set around a high school. two teenagers are forced to sing together at a karaoke party during the christmas break and discover they share a love for music.

Not expecting to see each other again Gabriella's mum is transferred to a new town and Gabriella ends up at the same school as troy.
Troy is the basketball team captain and the two teenagers become friends.
They end up auditioning for the high school musical and are called back along with Sharpay and Ryan evans who are in every high school musical.

My kids loved this movie when it was first shown on the Disney channel and weve watched it quite often.
They like the songs and they like Ashley Tisdale as they know her from a Disney programe.

my eldest son likes the song getcha head in the game.my eldest daughter likes the song were breaking free.and the other three like start of something new.

i like the movie because it has good characters a good teen story and the songs arnt that bad either
some actors are better than others but is generally a good movie.my favorite of the cast is corbin blu and vanessa anne hudgens.she has a great singing voice and she plays her part in the movie well.

i prefer ashley tisdale in movies rather than in a tv series im not too keen on her singing though .she does act well with lucas gabreel.i also like the teacher who puts the school musical together.miss darbus
