Hi-Touch Imaging HiTi 631PL Photo Printer

I bought this printer for my parents and my in-laws for Christmas. We got it all setup for them very quickly. The print quality is amazing and it has the waterproof layer on top, which I think makes it better than a print from the store. I was worried about it saying it was only 300 X 300 DPI, but it looks just like a print from the store and much better than any of the hight DPI ink jets out there. I would really recommend this and will be putting it on my birthday list! The only thing you may need to consider is that you need to have at least 128MB RAM to print more than one picture at a time. My husband's parents computer only had 64MB and it would only queue one picture at a time. The per picture print isn't bad if you buy in bulk. We bought supplies for 300 4X6 prints for $100, so it is just $0.30 per picture. The printing time is a little slow, but not any slower than one hour developing at stores.
