There should be a recall!

The Bottom Line: This model needs a recall from HP. If they keep selling this to unsuspecting consumers, their going to be looking at a class action lawsuit soon.

DO NOT BUY: BOTCHED PRODUCT!

The Bottom Line: I don't recommend buying until the defect is corrected and the service department repairs computers in a timely way without requiring customers to wait months to be completed.

The Bottom Line: This laptop is fantastic, but isn't for me. Recommend a trip to a retail outlet to test one out before purchasing. Excellent speed and portability but poor design.

Decent entry level computer

The Bottom Line: I'm sitting on the fence as to whether or not to recommend the DV2000T. Price and screen tip me to the positive side, but just barely.
Review: I've owned the DV2000T for about 3 months now and it's not a bad laptop for the price but there are some deficiencies I should warn you about first.

It has a very nice bright 14.1" display and is fairly lightweight at a tad under 6 pounds...
