Worst Printer I Have Ever Had

1. The color cartridges run out of even very frequently, even if one has not been printing in color. A couple of times I have been told to replace a color cartridge even though I had not printed in color for several weeks.  Go figure?

2. It is impossible to print in black and white only, if any single color cartridge is empty.  . But if this happens on a Sunday (as it did to me) one simply cannot print anything even though the BW cartridge is full. I discussed this via a "chat" support feature online.  The customer service representative took about one half hour of asking me stupid questions until she finally told me that it was impossible to print in black and white if ANY cartridge is empty.

3. It is difficult to remove all paper if the printer jams.

4. Color printing exhausts ink rapidly'

5. The sheet feed mechanism stopped working several weeks ago..

6. The bundled software is OK, but it is not very intuitively designed.

7. The machine vibrates greatly when in use, and is relatively noisy.

8.Takes five minutes to boot up while going through selftests.  This is useful, but cannot be overridden to save time.
