Work Horse

The HP1320 is a workhorse in the black and white LaserJet family of printers. I have used one daily for the last several years and it has never failed – not once. I print an average of 30 pages a day, and once a month I really work it hard, printing about 100 pages at one time. The front pull out paper caddy is easy to use. I particularly like the ease of simply pushing it back into the printer without having to lift it into a slot. You just fill it with paper (up to 250 pages) and push it back into the printer. Feeding envelopes and special letterhead into the manual feeder is just as simple. You move the guide arms toward the middle for an envelope or to the outside for letterhead and simply feed it into the printer. The 1320 grabs it and prints. Changing the toner cartridge is also easy. Taking the old cartridge out is as simple as grabbing the easy to find handle and pulling. Feeding the new one into the printer requires no lining up with any markers, arrows or slots. It just slides in naturally. Though not the fastest of the printers on the market, it is respectable and useful at about 20 pages per minute.
