Author's Review
We expect laser quality from HP and this 1320 lives up to the reputation. Good looks, footprint, installation, speed, quietness, etc., are exactly what HP provides. The manual feed is a total disaster, and this is very disappointing from HP considering that they have mastered this on other printers.
It's even worse than reading other reviews because the 'straight-pass' door in the back [for envelopes, etc] is 6" high! This means you need to have the printer a full 6" from anything behind in order to open it. So, you have a wimpy flimsy piece of plastic junk up front, and another one behind, and you have to very carefully feed envelopes one at a time. This is extremely poor for HP.
However, I knew this up front, so I cannot complain, as my manual feeds are only 3% of my work. The wonderful laser print quality makes up for it.
