Author's Review
I bought my laptop directly from the HP website, therefore I had the option of customizing it. This laptop came with a 15.4" High Definition screen, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, Light-Scribe DVD Burner, built in finger print reader and web cam, Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS video card, 5 in 1 card reader, Digital TV Tuner, built in Altec Lansing speakers supported by a HD Sound Card, 150 GB Hard-drive,wireless 802.11G router and loaded with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Operating System. I really enjoy using my laptop. It offers a lot of options for entertainment purposes as well as school work, and other things. It is excellent for traveling. You will not be bored. I also purchased the 12-cell lithium-ion battery instead the standard 6-cell battery. It runs several hours before running out of battery power. The new Windows Vista Home Premium Operating System offers many new features. I especially like the new graphical user interface on Vista. It is very user friendly. Security features are also heightened in the new operating system. The keyboard is ergonomically designed. I use to hate typing on laptops because of their keys. But the keyboard on this laptop provides a very good feel. The mouse pad has a built in feature called double tap. So you don't have to double click the left button in order to open a file/program, you simply double tap on the mouse pad. The white influx pattern on the outside of the laptop, gives it a nice and sleek look. So far I haven't been able to find many things to complain about. It should run well for a few years. By that time, newer technologies will be in the market, and I'll probably make an upgrade.
