Powerful Upgrade

The Bottom Line: im very recomendeed
I have the HP m9040n from a big box merchants. Has worked well because they come from the field. I was at an earlier age Presario desktop with a single processor. The team could not be entrusted with the task of HD video editing. This new unit, which make it possible for me to edit native HD video (AVCHD format in the software Sony Studio 11). Editing HD have fewer accidents on the former Presario m9040n video had SD. The playback of HD editing is a little herky still unevenly distributed, and I hoped that the improvement of the standard RAM 3MB outside the box 6 MB help, but on the proposal then I will be happy with what I have.
Play high-definition video download from my Sony HDV camcorder with HD-video player from Sony is smoother than playback during editing. For comparison, the Presario Major (with a single processor with 2.4 GHz and 1.5 MB RAM) video playback on Sony HD player was a worse herky reproduce unequal experience in the processing of HD video on the m9040n .
The graphics card comes with an HDMI output. I'm waiting to buy a HDMI cable long enough to connect to my TV room. The m9040n comes with an infrared remote control media content. This should allow for playback of HD content on my computer on my big TV screen, without an HD DVD format until the war is a winner.
In general I am satisfied with the system, especially for the price.

I edited 45 minutes of HD native AVCHD files up to 20 minutes with Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate Software. I have an HD DVD, the project at the Pavilion as an MPEG4 Full HD playback. Installed Vista Media Center does not recognize that MPEG video, but the Windows Media Player has not play the file after it quickly online and updated its codec. Full-HD file plays perfectly on my hard drive without any doubts or deterioration of its HD image on my Samsung 22-widescreen monitor.
The time, 20 minutes of HD material published about 35 minutes. This benefit is faster in the HD Pavilion SD card, the software with the same Presario adopted.
