Author's Review

I've owned this laptop for two years and I'm currently in the process of sending it to HP for repairs for the third time. First issue, the screen wouldnt turn on, HP covered it under warranty, no questions asked. second issue: wireless died, and at this point the laptop was out of warranty. HP finally agreed to replace the motherboard after struggling with numerous customer service representatives. it turns out that this was such a common problem that they were treating this issue like a recall. Less than a month after the motherboard the computer stopped booting up, HP offers a 90 warranty on repairs, so if i get lucky it will be the motherboard again and they will cover it, otherwise I'll have to pay for the repair myself. I'm never going to buy another HP product.
