Great Deal!

This is the second HP computer I've purchased from Wal-Mart. I have been very pleased with both. This one was a great deal. For $849.99 it is a lot of computer. The price and features were far better than other brands we looked at. It has a huge 22 inch monitor with great graphics. It is good for games, but I do find it a bit too large for just browsing the internet. It seems like it takes a lot of scrolling just to navigate the pages. The Intel Duo Core processor if very fast, but it seems a little slower than the Pentium 4 that my previous computer had. I like the new Windows Vista program, once I got used to it. The tower has 3 USB ports that were conveniently placed on the front. It also has 4 different size slots for memory cards. This has made getting the pictures from my digital camera so much easier. No cord to connect the camera to the computer. Just plug your memory card into the slot, HP Photo pops up, click "get pictures" and your done! Just like that! The CD burner is easy to use. The overall computer has a nice look to it, black and silver. It also has so much ram and hard drive that I don't think any average computer user would feel that it was enough. It has some very useful programs preloaded into it, like Microsoft Works. Works has many uses and is quite user friendly. I would recommend this computer to anyone! You can't beat it for the money.
