You can't buy a printer like this anymore

Unfortunately our 5p died after 11 years of non-stop use. It jammed infrequently, had fast warm up times, was reasonably quick at printing, and was inexpensive to buy toner for. Our new color laser by okidata drinks ink like a lush at a bar, and seems to constantly need new drums, carts, or a fuser on a weekly basis. We never replaced a single component in our 5p other than the toner cart, which we only did about 2 to 3 times a year despite daily office printing tasks. You just can't buy a 10 year printer anymore. Or a 2 year printer for that matter. We mourned its passing.
