Good printer
Pros:
Excellent printing speed, everything works well, all in one
Cons:
All in one
The Bottom Line:
I'd buy it again. If you want color this is the wrong model, but all in all this is very reliable, a good feature for an all in one.

Author's Review
I've had the HP LaserJet 3200 for just over three years. I work out of my home and have the HP hooked to my lap-top.
I didn't have much trouble setting it up. Operation seems to be rather simple. To copy you insert the pages face down in the front-most slot and hit the copy key.
If you want to fax an item you insert the pages face down in the front-most slot and then...well, normally a box appears on the screen of the lap-top. Sometimes you have to start the program from the Programs section of the start key. If you're sending more than five pages...don't use the computer. It may have something to do with the 32 MEG of memory I've on this lap-top, but we can't seem to get that to work very well. You can, however, insert the pages in the front-most slot and then enter the fax number directly to the machine and hit send. That works fine.
Receiving faxes is a no-brainer. I've never had an issue with that that I'm aware of anyway.
Printing works 99% of the time without any hassles. I can get as cheap of printer paper as I want and I've never had a jam. Toner is about $68 at Office Max and I go through about one every nine months or so. I don't print as much as some offices may, but everything seems to work fine there.
The scanning feature would be nicer if it were in color, but works fairly well even without it. I don't use this as much but to scan logos into my lap-top for presentations and proposals. As I said, color scanning would be nice, but then so would color printing. Just not a feature of this model.
Another of the reviews mention an ON/OFF key. That would be handy. Sometimes it will lock-up and not function at all. The accepted solution from HP is to un-plug it for ten seconds and restart it. This works every time for me and the way I've the printer set on the desk makes it easy to do this. Considering the bulk of the machine, it would be difficult to reach around and do that easily. I guess HP figures you're not normally going to turn a fax machine off, but a RESET button would be nice.
This is a good machine for small offices that don't need the color functionality and don't have the room (or budget) for all the separate machines.
A consideration that gives me pause for those of you looking is that if it were to jam-up or break where you had to send it out for service, you're out all the machines, not just the printer, or fax, or copier, etc. I haven't had the problem and hopefully never will.
