STOP! THINK! RECONSIDER!

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy it for anything except the lightest possible use, OR with the expectation that I WILL want and need to replace it in a year or two.
Review: This particular line of printers is supposedly for a home/small office environment. However, it would be better used in a home where it's VERY infrequently used.

Jam session

Review: As you will see from other reviews, the paper in this printer jams constantly. The printer also pulls more than a single sheet of paper routinely, which is one cause of the jamming. I cannot recommend purchase of this printer.

Review: Unuseable other than as a single sheet feed printer despite application of fix from HP. Fix offered as part of class action lawsuit I think. Ok if purchased as a disposeable I guess. Mine had light duty as a home printer probably 250 pages/mo max...

Review: i have had this printer for 3 years not a single problem. ya i have had jams but who hasnt.this is super fast and you can print over 5,000 pages on a single toner, maybe even more highy recommed for b&w pictures and docs.

Mixed Bag

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this printer to a friend because it would be better to just avoid the jamming problem altogether.
Review: We have had this printer in our office for about 3 years now. This model has a BIG problem with multiple feed of sheets and subsequent jamming. In all seriousness, I think we only went through one ream of paper before the multi-feed problem kicked...
