This is one great printer!

The HP LaserJet 1100A xi is literally the best printer I have ever owned. I set it up on my network along with several other printers and it?s the printer I usually print to. It?s very fast (8 PPM) and has a great DPI (600x600 but I swear its twice as sharp as any inkjet). I?ve bough 4 of these so far for my office, I?ve gotten all of the models (the se, axi, and the xi). The scanner attachment is great, its removable, it just slides right on. You just hit the button on the front of the scanner and a little box pops up on your screen with several options, you can copy fax scan etc?. its great! It has replaced my fax machine!, you just put a page or a few pages in the top, hit the button, when the box comes up select ?fax? then it scans the pages (one pass quickly) and then you designated fax (in my case WinFax) comes up, and its ready to go. The copier feature is just ok, its great for copying text, but it has some problems with the different shades, usually its a little dark, but its all adjustable. Overall this printer is the best printer I have ever owned, trust me, if you?re in the market for a fast laser printer this is the one for you!
