1. I bought this unit last week and for the most part the installation was fair , for some strange reason no USB cable comes with this unit , yet other HP printers I've owned in the past ( HP 3900 etc. ) came with USB cable , power supply CD etc.

2 A week after purchase I tried to print a 3 page document and that's when the nightmare started . No matter how many times I tried to print a document IT WOULD NOT PRINT. Tried to uninstall and then install the software and got the " blue screen of death " . Now before whoever reads this thinks it might be my system do'nt bother . I'm running an AMD Sempron at 2.1 Ghz with a 667 MHz 1GB DDR2 stick .For those of you that are considering buying an HP printer PLEASE PLEASE do your research and consider other brands cause HP has fallen down flat on its face with respect to their products and I mean ALL of them .Other sites will confirm that .

3.If you're going through the same nightmare as me with this unit and are even considering trying technical support DO'NT BOTHER . You will spend hours of your life that you cannot reclaim trying to contact them and IF by the grace of God you get somebody on the line you will be instructed to perform all kinds of circus acts to the unit to print after installing it. Your best option is to either return it (DO NOT THROW AWAY THE RECEIPT OR PACKAGING ) or find a friend who's computer literate .
