good for the money
Date of Review: Mar 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: easy to use, good but for the money.
So we bought this printer last week and so far so good,it was easy to set up ,but the software took forever ,so if you do not have a least 30 minutes to just sit and stare at the screen do not bother with this one.other than that its been pretty good .i have heard others complain that it uses too much ink but i have not noticed that problem yet.it prints very quickly and the photos are awesome.the colors are bright and beautiful, like you would expect from an h.p. printer and the cost was not bad for the features.it ran around eighty dollars .it has a plug in in the front for your camera which is a usb plug, just the one plug though.it also has an automatic paper out button which allows you to let the paper run straight through if you change your mind on printing your paper and it also has a removable back to it so you can clear any and all jams from the back in case that would happen, buy i have found that i do not get many jams with my h.p. printers.of course it does not come with its own usb cord so you will have to purchase one on your own.it uses 5 different ink types.so there are several options on how you want to fill it when it runs out.it comes with number 74 and number 75 and those are a little hard to find refills if you chose not to use genuine h.p. inks, and there are three other combinations that you can chose.it is all in the set up paper work, which is included in your box.so far we have enjoyed this printer and are using it as our everyday printer,so we will see in the future how the ink is going.
