Author's Review

I purchased this printer as a quick fix after my Canon multi-pass 390 went out after 2 years of trouble free service. I say that, but the last 3 months were a living hell. (And, then they don't have any recycling program either for the thousands of tiny ink cartridges they use or for the giant door-stop of plastic it becomes)
But to the point, I got this HP5360 (It seems to also go by this name depending on where you buy). I have a small advertising business, so I generally do alot of black and white printing, but occasionally I need good color.
The set-up went fairly easily, and I even figured out how to print a few photos, which came out a little color imbalanced, but not too bad. As for regular printing, the quality is fine. The big problem with this printer is the paper jam. HP seems to have figured out a way to program paper jams to occur every five sheets or so. Then you have to turn the whole thing around and pull off the entire back cartridge just to get your crumpled and/or torn paper out. If I had a penny for every paper jam in the 3 months I've owned this printer, I could have bought two more Canons. Don't waste your money. It looks pretty on the shelf and it has a rebate attached, but it's no substitute for the time you waste pulling out reams of jammed paper.
