A Disappointment....

Pros:  Canon printers get great reviews...not sure why.

Cons:  Noisy, bulky, text printing poor, photo prints colors look washed out. "Drinks" ink.

I purchased my Canon MX310 printer (all in one) two months ago and have been disappointed in its performance. The printing, both text and photo, is marginal. I have tried using all the "adjustments" programmed...and there are many..with dismal results. I wished I had discovered the poor performance during the two weeks I had to return it to Office Depot. Some other drawbacks...it is very large and looks like a monolith on my desk...it is very noisy, it does have a "quiet mode" but the printer runs more slowly with this option...well, I could go on but wanted to mention the worst feature...it DRINKS ink. Since some office stores don't carry Canon products...it is sometimes hard to find cartridges. So, don't bother with this product...get an HP!
