HP C7180, Never got it going...
Pros:
Still haven't experienced a pro.
Cons:
Does not work. (times 2)
The Bottom Line:
I cannot give a positive recommendation until HP gives me a working piece of equipment. HP: I want a refund.

First one I got destroyed each piece of paper I put in there. After about 2 hours on the phone with the wonderful HP tech support people (in one of their foreign outsourced tech centers)and running multiple tests the end result was that my machine was defective (I told them it was, but why take my word for it). A refurbished replacement was sent in three days. (I wanted a new one, but they refused) After another hour of installation, yet another disappointment: the refurbished (which means not "new", you know) piece of work did not print properly, leaving streaks through the writing and the colors not printing properly. I'll be looking forward to another frustrating afternoon talking to the wonderful HP tech people. Maybe I will get a working machine before the warranty (if that is what they can still call this) runs out.
If I had produced a shoddy product at a premium price, I would at least give a new replacement instead of a refurbished junker. Little free marketing/business lesson for HP (free of charge): In general, it is much more cost effective to keep a current customer (especially one who buys a higher end product) happy than it is to persuade a new customer to buy your products. Besides, doesn't HP make most of its profits on the ink refills anyway? A new, working replacement would have really been nice and I may have actually bought some refills if the printer worked. I guess I will just have to buy an Epson now. Oi.
