Shocking connectivity with network

Pros: Has very nice printing ability when it worked - only once!

Cons: Everything about the software, networking features and scan to PC features!

A great printer this would be if it would actually scan to my networked computers in various formats which it won't do and also if the HP software would actually recognise it. Also, if it would actually connect to my PCs properly, that would be a good start. The printer seems to hate Vista (despite being packaged with Vista software) and it also hates XP computers which are connected wirelessly to a wireless router which the printer is ethernet wired to!!

After speaking to HP for about 5 hours over 3 days, and trying to uninstall, reinstall, use cleanup tools, shutdown firewalls, shutdown anti-virus, shutdown system services of all kinds, I GAVE UP!!

This machine is going back to the retailer tomorrow!! Sorry HP, NEVER AGAIN after this experience!!!
