If you want 11x17 prints, this is it!

First, this is not what one would ever want at home unless you need the fast 11x17 print capability.

This is an excellent office laser printer with good speed (35 pages per minute) and decent resolution (1200 by 1200 dpi). The best feature here is the 11x17 size print capability, and that's what you pay that extra $1500 for.

It's got a pretty good 460MHz processor and 64MB of memory, but I'd recommend to expand that to 512MB (additional expense, doesnt have to be HP brand) if there are a lot of workstations linked to it.

Installing it is a piece of cake with choice of a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, IEEE 1284 parallel ports, and HP Jetdirect Fast Ethernet embedded print server.
