The Bottom Line: If one needs a basic qualitiy laser printer and does not have to have flexabilty in controller color, this is a vary good unit.

Good laser printer for the money.

Review: It does a pretty darn good job for a sub $1000 color laser printer. I printed 10,000 pages the first two months I had it and no problems. It did give me some software problems in the third month. I called HP and they helped me get an updated driver...

Don't try envelopes

Review: The envelope feed is terrible - maybe 8 at a time to prevent a jam.
Constantly shows printer error and if you program it for envelopes it will go very slow and into intermittent mode after a couple of hundred envelopes.
