Nectar of the Gods!

I do not usually drink alot of alcohol. I generally have to many things to do in my day to day life to spend the time drinking. But I have to be honest. This is one liqueur that I could spend hours consuming. The first thing you notice (other than the price) is the color and clarity of the liqueur, a deep, creamy, caramel color with an unusually shaped bottle. When opening you would almost expect a genie to pop out of the top. The bouquet is very dominate close the nose with a caramel apple scent. The liqueur is just as good as when served warm and unlike other brands of cognac it has little to no flavor loss when flamed. The liqueur is made to be enjoyed with fine cigars, preferably cuban, and meant to be savored rolling over the palette with all the delicacy of fine spun silk over bare skin. This is a cognac that is meant to be enjoyed on fine winter evenings in front of a roaring fire with good friends or family. Life as well as fine cognac is meant to be savored, relished and enjoyed. You can drink other brands but for me, one time was all it took for me to want to sit on mount olympus and sip the nectar of the gods.
