Author's Review

I bought this soft serve ice cream maker for my moms birthday, and when we opened it, the thin plastic mixer handle was broken. Disappointed, we called the company telling them of the broken paddle and they said they will ship us a new piece immediately. after waiting about four weeks, we get the paddle and finally get to try the ice cream. it turned out very grainy and not fully solidified, half liquid and half ice cream and came out of the spout in droplets that would melt by the time you fill the cup. we decided that we were not going to spend 50 dollars on an ice cream machine and try it only once, so we looked up a different recipe on the internet, this time making chocolate ice cream. Turned out to be more similar to fudgecicles than chocolate ice cream. Plus since you need to freeze the ice cream canister before making the ice cream, (rather then the machine have its own freezing system) the canister loses it's cold temperature before the ice cream finishes.
