Hell's Kitchen - Deaver Can Do Better. Much Better!

Pros: Interesting characters, fast pace some of the time

Cons: Slow pace some of the time, some plot items too implausible, too tidy

The Bottom Line: Hell's Kitchen is a decent story but it lacks the punch that Deaver usually delivers.

Review: I read Hell's Kitchen by Jeffery Deaver (writing as William Jefferies) because a friend recommended it. She knew I enjoyed Deaver's writing and she was certain I'd find Hell's Kitchen up to his standards.

She was wrong.
