The band sucks so does this game

This game is about 4 characters who is the Band KISS, they are also know as avatars in the game. Each has powers similar to the four elements of earth, wind, fire, and water. They are summoned to kill off the evil that has been born. As you play each character you are on a quest to find your armors( which is the KISS costumes and makeup). As you get stronger and stronger you'll crawl through the street of some city and into the Circus where the evil lays (I thought the band was the bad guys).
I saw this game in pcgamers a while back and remember that it looked good and fun to play. The graphic was what got me interested the most. My friend bought it because He kind of like KISS which by the way I don't like at all. To me they should be call FREAKS rather than KISS. Anyways, he let me borrowed the games to give it a try, I read the manual a little bit and saw what KISS: Psycho Cirus had to offer. It turns out they are trying to mix a gothic scenery with a modern day era. Doesn't mix too well for me. As I looked through I found the weapons inventory. Nothing new here, it's just machine guns and shotgun morphed into some cannons. Really dumb and not original. They also gives you some abilities which sparked some interest in me. But when I played the game, it was the dumbest thing I have ever seen.
You only have a few abilities that you can do. One is a zoom ability but that has a limit on it and there's not one gun that can shoot straight like a sniper rifle. Another is like a grenade but it looks like a Jack in a Box.(Actually that is what's it's called). So the abilities turned out to be not original and just bad. The install was finish and I could finally play. I am a well season veteran in FPS so i thought I would try it on hard. Boy was that a big mistake. Creatures tend to a appear out of no where and bite you in the butt. REALLY! I was in a room that had one way out and after I passed a certain mark this dog like creature comes out of no where and bites me. I did it several times to make sure. Anyways they try to explain that by having portals, and the portals lead to somewhere, where they had an infinate amount of creatures. I tested that too by just standing in front of it with my trusty sword and just slices and dices anything that came out. I did it for over an hour and they were still coming. Bad idea for the game because this will make the game ten times as hard.
The maps are kind of small so you really can't run away or dodge these creatures so that was another negative. So far this game is not doing anything for me other then it's giving me a headache.
One thing I liked out of the game was the graphic. It is truly beautiful. The textures and and the color matched and was very detail. The movies scene was nicely made and didn't have much flaw in them.
