The Bottom Line: good for a kid, a bit pricey for what you get, but the best I have been able to find geared to kids
Review: From the sounds and age of the other reviews there apparantely was an older model. We purchased the vcam now 2.0 for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. I was leary because of the reviews. I had considered getting the Fisher Price Kid Tough...

Basic Camcorder

Review: The basic functions are so easy that my two boys (three,five) are working it.The lighting problem, well there is none, so reason being unless you do every special moment you are wanting caught on tape fixing the lighting may be a big deal.Definitely...

Terrible product

Review: My daughter just bought this video camera with some money she got for Christmas. We're going to promptly return this thing. The video is absolutely atrocious. It definitely isn't worth $80 - probably < $10 IMHO.

Cool Cam!

Review: I love this little cam! I like the way you can take both pics and videos. I use it when I'm out biking to take pics of all the cool stuff I see and short videos to share with friends. The programs that come with it are really cool too!

I won't buy another one

Review: We paid too much for this cheap "toy". It hasn't worked well since we bought. My son used it only about 3 times since the video and picture quality are sooo bad. He turned it on the other day and it doesn't work at all even with fresh batteries...
