The Bottom Line: good sound at a good price
I was growing really tired of my stock sound of the pair of desktop speakers I had on my desk. I found myself listening more and more to online music and I wanted to hear it better. My home stereo rarely gets turned on, unless I watch a movie and want surround sound. I hunted down the Harman Multimedia soundsticks II, because I heard them before, they used to come offered with Dell computers. I found them on sale for less than a hundred, which is a great deal. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend these to anybody who's looking for a great PC sound. These are great for using with my PC and also with my MP3 player. The highs are crystal clear with no overtones, the mids are thick and full and the bass, when set right, is a thumper. Not only do these speakers sound good, they look cool also. Take a look at the pics, they do not do them justice until you see them up close. The tone of these can easily be played full volume without any noticeable distortion or breakup, and still sound full and clear. You can't get a better sound than these unless you buy a separate decent amp and bookshelf speaker combination, which costs a lot more than these do. They are so simple to set up, a child can do it.
