Very very good camcorder

The Bottom Line: Just get it.. it's great for familes and great for memories
This is a very good MiniDV camcorder. I love the NightShot on it, truthfully its one of the main reasons I bought this. Plus Sony has been selling camcorders like crazy. Unlike most camcoders that have USB connections and don't come with a usb cord.. this one does. And unlike my other camera you can record or view views will having it plugged in. (I had to take out the battery and charge it with my old camcorder)..
The battery life is fair.. not the best.. it's avarages between 80mins (will on standy by and not playing around in the menu).. 65mins recordering (agian.. without playing with the menu).. or 60mins to 55mins (with playing with all the features).. and with the touch screen you don't have any clutter of buttons. Alough you do have the wipe off the finger-prints a lot.
The NightShot as I stated above is great. Perfect for any condision. (infred)
The SteadyShot is sweet.. I zoom into something and the camcorder hardly moves at all. (Unlike my old one which made it look like you where jumping up and down at 2000mph)
The built in lens cap is pretty cool.
The effects are cool.. I like "Pastel" it makes everything cartoony.
I tottaly suggest this camera to anyone is look for a not to pricey camcorder.
